Description 

The USAID Youth Excel: Our Knowledge, Leading Change program is looking to recruit a Kenyan-based Consortium partner who will facilitate and co-lead a learning agenda around how networks and social capital contribute to youth economic opportunities, especially for youth who are traditionally marginalized.  

Purpose 

Youth Excel seeks to recruit 1 (one) consortium partner based in Kenya. The consortium partner will participate in Youth Excel activities, facilitate a network supporting local youth organizations in Kisumu, Kenya, and co-lead Youth Excel’s learning agenda around how networks contribute to youth economic opportunities especially for youth who are traditionally marginalized.    

Who is eligible to submit a concept note 

Local, legally registered youth-led and/or youth-serving organizations in Kenya that meet the eligibility criteria and share Youth Excel objectives. Organizations led by and serving youth from marginalized groups, which may include age, gender, disability, ethnicity, and other identities, are encouraged to apply.

  1. Review the request for applications instructions.  Draft application responses in Word or  online using the “save and resume later” feature, and prepare and upload required attachments online using the following templates for Attachments 1, 2, 3 and 4:

  2. Attend RFA Webinar Session on January 10, 2023

  4. Submit application by January 26, 2023
