The role requires a passionate candidate to manage public relations and communication for the association. The individual should have great content writing skills and have the ability, a great storyteller and leverages various digital channels to distribute content while creating impact and influence within the industry.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop/implement effective corporate communication strategy
Writing, editing and production of press releases, news articles, web articles, newsletters, social media posts and other promotional content.
Frequently updating all the digital assets e.g. Website and social media platform with relevant content
Building and maintain relationships with media and key stakeholders
Media and publicity support: Manage media inquiries and arrange interviews, statements, and press conferences
Social media support: consistently update/create relevant activity pages including leveraging influencers to communicate to the right demographic

KEY COMPETENCIES/JOB SPECIFICATION

Education and Training

A Diploma in PR, Mass Media & Communications. A Bachelor’s Degree in the same field is an added advantage. Professional training is an added advantage.

Knowledge, skills, and attributes
At least 1 years’ experience in a busy communications function
Knowledge in website and Social Media Management
Experience in digital content creation
Basic graphic design skills and experience with creating basic animations and infographics
