The Role:
Reporting to the Manager Strategy and Special Projects, the job holder will be the main
reporting officer on all matters regarding music and creative works planned and
undertaken in the respective studios.
Specific Terms:
Three (3) years contract
Key Responsibilities
Reporting on all matters regarding music/creative works planned and
undertaken in the respective studios.
Coordinating the work of sourcing and rehearsing musicians, booking them for
recording, scheduling, developing sound tracks, editing, mixing and mastering
original CD copies.
Overseeing the songwriting, arrangement and recording processes to ensure
high-quality as possible.
Guiding the mixing, mastering, and recording.
Audio Music Producers will work very closely with artists during recording
sessions, providing helpful advice including suggesting changes to lyrics where
possible.
Listening to an artist’s demos and working with artists to produce the sound
they require.
Operating technical equipment including mixing desks.
Liaising with Audio Engineers and Sound Engineers to improve sound quality.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Music production from a recognized institution
3+ years’ experience using digital audio hardware and software
Must be conversant with editing Software such as Cool Edit Pro, Pro Tools and
Adobe Audition for editing and production purposes
Must be fully conversant with Cubase Pro Music Production software
Understanding of the latest music industry trends, including familiarity with
different music genres in Kenya
Strong communication, negotiation and social skills
Highly creative with good technical skills
Flexible and self-motivated
Understanding of industry laws, ethics and regulations including plagiarism and
copyright infringement
Must be computer literate.

The Role:
Reporting to the Manager Strategy and Special Projects, the job holder will be the main
reporting officer on all matters regarding video music and video creative works
planned and undertaken in the respective studios.
Specific Terms:
Three (3) years contract
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for managing and overseeing the production of a video content.
Responsible for planning and organizing the shoots
Understanding the requirements, planning concepts and stories for video
production.
Planning, script writing and preparation of the production schedules.
Selecting appropriate camera, audio, and lighting equipment.
Arranging transportation for crews and equipment.
Creating static and motion graphics.
Working in collaboration with other members of the studio, including the audio
music producer and sound technician.
Reviewing the final video and editing them as per the requirements.
Supervising the direction, voice-over, photographers, etc., in the video-making
process.
Documenting a proper record of all video productions and content.
Providing training and support to the artists.
Developing the initial storyboards to the final editing
Determining which direction to go with your visual representation of the music.
In charge of ensuring that the operation stays within budget.
Finding the proper cast and crew for a quality video production.
Responsible for setting the mood of the production through lighting, set design,
costuming, and special effects.
Managing video library in the studios.
Requirements
Diploma in Films, Media, or a related field
3+ years of experience working as a Video Producer or a similar position in the
Media industry
Sound knowledge of production processes and technologies
Ability to work in a team environment and independently
Excellent communication skills with the ability to tell the story in a creative
manner
Outstanding project management techniques and procedures
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Exceptional knowledge of lighting audio and video equipment, including
familiarity with professional cameras
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize them
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, CyberLink Power Director, etc
Flexible and self-motivated
Understanding of industry laws, ethics and regulations including plagiarism and
copyright infringement
Must be computer literate.

The Role:
Reporting to Manager Strategy and Special Programmes, the job holder will be
responsible for operating, maintaining and repairing of studio production equipment.
Specific Terms:
Three (3) years contract
Key Responsibilities
Operating, maintaining and repairing studio production equipment.
Participating in the installation and testing of studio production equipments.
Providing system support to the Music Producer/Music Creative Copy Writer.
Assemble, operate and maintain the technical equipment used to record, amplify,
enhance, mix or reproduce sound.
Communicating with production staff and performers to determine the sound
requirements.
Monitoring audio signals to detect sound-quality deviations or malfunctions
Anticipating and correcting any faults.
Working in post-production, to integrate (synchronize) pre-recorded audio
(dialogue, sound effects and music) with visual content.
Testing all parts of the system during installation to ensure proper functioning.
Performing technician tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and routinely maintains the
equipment.
Minimum Requirements
Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication Technician Course Part III
Must be computer literate
Must have good communication skills
Strong balanced hearing ability
A technical knowledge of electricity and electronics
Knowledge of the capabilities of different types of sound equipment
Attention to detail and understand health and safety requirements
Ability to react quickly and creatively to any problems that arise.
