Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process – Job posting, preparing the longlist, contacting candidates and organizing interviews.
- Support in the onboarding process – Preparation of the induction program and welcoming of new staff.
- Prepare national staff contracts, national consultancy contracts, internships agreements following labor regulations and internal guidelines.
- Liaise with Managers for contract renewals in due time and make constantly follow up to this process.
- Prepare and submit payroll information to ILRI HR in a timely manner.
- Maintain an up to date and accurate staff records, filing system and HR online systems.
- Updating of internal documents – leave records, chargeback forms, recruitment reports, contract report for SSA and CIP-SSA contact list.
- Assist in the payment process for consultants.
- Collaborate in preparing exit documents and taking the staff through the exit process.
- Comply with applicable health and safety CIP policies and procedures.
- Any other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience required in similar positions, especially working in the Human Resources area.
- Proficient in MS Office, preferably in excel and power point to prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Customer service oriented to support colleagues in the SSA region.
- Attention to detail.
- Demonstrate a high integrity and confidentiality.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills in English, Fluent in Kiswahili.
