Job purpose:

Positioning Simba Duty Free brand amongst customers and suppliers by maximizing relationships with suppliers, brands and third parties.

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for establish, communicate, monitor and manage all aspects of the company branding as per Simba strategy in the country, with special focus on digital marketing;
• Creating visual concepts for promotional activities;
• Maintaining the online presence and reputation of the company;
• Overseeing the creation and maintenance of Simba website and social media content;
• Tracking digital marketing performance
• Responsible for keeping brand manual up to date and conduct Brand audits;
• Responsible for launches and Simba DF events in the country;
• Responsible for undertaking consumer research & analysis of consumer feedback;
• Create an information pool on competitors, industry trends, consumer profiles in the country;
• Ensure country marketing calendar / promotional calendar and budgets are set as per business objective;
• Periodic review and feedback on the marketing and promotional activities;
• Prepare Marketing MIS.

KPIs : • Increasing brand value and image;
• Timely preparation & execution of Marketing and promotion calendar;
• Effective capture & analysis of consumer, marketing & promotional feedback;
• Website & traffic metrics;
• SEO optimization;
• Social media tracking.

Qualification and Competencies:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or similar field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist or similar role
• Experience with digital marketing automation software
• Experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics • Knowledge of web publishing
• Proficiency with SEO tools
• Superb verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills.
