About the job

The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities specifically in the cold room Section. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in sales, marketing and after sales service for the cold room business.
  • Explore and develop new business opportunities across multiple segments for application of cold room, clean room, pre-fab panels and cold chain warehouses.
  • Implement sales and business strategies to achieve sales target and profit target.
  • Assist in Formulating the sales strategies guideline and develop/manage the market segment and customer base.
  • To monitor the regional activities inclusive of trends in product, purchasing pattern and develop strategy to leverage the changes.
  • To work closely with warehouse personal.
  • Provide facility assessment and product demonstrations to prospective and current customers.
  • Practice “professional selling” techniques in order to develop strong relationships with potential customers to penetrate accounts and leverage full sales potential.
  • Monitor competitive activity and trends within the territory.
  • Liaison with relevant industry specific professional associations, corporations, cooperatives government agencies to leverage potential cold chain development solutions.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years’ proven experience in sales.
  • Degree in Sales or any other relevant course.
  • Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems. Experience with Senri will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrable track record of over-achieving targets.
  • Fast learner and must have passion for sales.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
