Experience and Qualifications:
- At least four (4) years’ HR generalist working experience preferably gained within a professional or financial services environment.
- Undergraduate degree preferably in HR or related field.
- Professional qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. HD – HRM, CHRP) will be an added advantage.
- Member of IHRM with valid practicing certificate
- Proven knowledge of Employment legislations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
Job Accountabilities:
- Relationship Building:
- Develop relationships with partners, line managers and employees to become their trusted HR advisor.
- Support the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, programs and procedures at an operational level.
- Work with the Talent Manager and wider Talent Generalist team in relation to strategic HR initiatives.
Performance Management:
- Support the Talent Team to embed a performance management culture within the firm as a means of driving business improvement by ensuring feedback and the improvement of HRservice delivery through behaviours aligned with the Firm values.
- Support the Talent Team, Partners and line managers with the identification of HR issues in the respective departments and proactively assist in putting together action plans to address them.
- Drive performance management process within the relevant department/ practice area.
- Actively engage with staff to assist them in drafting development plans, monitoring progress and collaborate with the learning team to best facilitate and support development.
Recruitment:
- Provide support in the recruitment processes, including conducting interviews, background checks and appointments.
- Work with the Knowledge Management and Learning team to ensure proper orientation and on-boarding of new joiners/promoted staff.
- Support the pupillage recruitment team with the selection process for pupils and graduate trainees.
- Actively participate and contributes to the Firm’s pupillage initiatives.
