Job Purpose

Leverage digital channels to drive Watu’s digital presence whilst supporting the development and execution of digital strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Design, build and maintain Watu social media presence on various platforms.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of digital strategies by tracking metrics such as customer conversion rates and cost-per-click.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize the user experience
  • Act as a point of contact between the Watu Gari and Brand team to address any digital management/ brand queries or concerns.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

  • University degree
  • 3 years’ experience in digital marketing communications
  • Certification in Digital Marketing will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrable experience with social media and digital platforms is required
  • Proficiency with various digital marketing tools id required
  • Sound understanding of digital best practice.
