The Role
Key responsibilities for the position are as hereunder:
Key Responsibilities
- Update of the general ledgers
- Preparation of the Fund accounts
- Process Bank reconciliations
- Preparation of statutory returns
- Process Payables
- Process Receivables
Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes
- Bachelors Degree in a business field
- Professional Qualification: to have completed Part III of Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Examination or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Be registered practicing member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants Kenya (ICPAK)
- Experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year end close process and accounting software user skills
- Capacity in accounting and reporting standards and regulatory standards
- A high degree of work ethics, integrity, maturity and self-drive
- Appropriate communication and organizational skills
