How you end things up is going to constantly ring in the mind of the interviewer just as much as how your first impression was to him/her. That is why it is advisable to make good last impressions for your interview to go well.

Make use of the guidelines below to close an interview and position yourself for a job offer in the process

    1. Ask relevant questions in regard to the job and the company
One way you could impress the hiring manager is to ask thoughtful questions that show you’ve done your research and that you’ve been actively listening throughout the interview process.

    A few recommendations

✅ What do you anticipate I will accomplish in the first 90 days?

✅ What do you like best about your job?

✅In this role, how is performance evaluated?

✅ What kinds of professional advancement opportunities does the company provide?

    2. Restate your interest in the position
Employers want to understand exactly if you’re substantial in being hired for a specific position. As such, before you consider leaving, take a few minutes to assert how much you acknowledge being a member of the organization. Keep your responses brief and focus on what you appreciate about the organization and your tasks and responsibilities.

    3. Explain why you are the best candidate for the job.
End the interview on a high note by restating your value proposition. Discuss the most important experiences and abilities you bring to the table in a couple of sentences. Make certain that your selling points are directly related to organizational duties.

    4. Discover the next steps.
This may sound obvious, but many job candidates fail to inquire about the next step in the hiring process. Inquiring about the next steps demonstrates to the interviewer your interest in the position. It can show how confident you are in your ability to succeed in this role. You must leave knowing what to do next.

    5. Don’t forget to do a thank you email!
To clearly differentiate yourself, convey a thank you note to the hiring manager within 24 hours of the interview.
