Role and Responsibilities
-Responsible for cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire hotel
-Assist in the preparation of the annual Housekeeping Budget for the hotel
-Maintain par stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen and uniform
-Organize inventories with Accounts and General Store for linen and uniform
-Pay particular attention while organizing pest eradication activities
-Develop and implement housekeeping systems and procedures
-Prepare reports for management information
-Assist Purchase department in selecting suppliers for items related to Housekeeping
-Organize on-the job training and evaluate its effectiveness
-Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
-Oversee staff on a daily basis; assign and follow-up on work schedules for the housekeeping team
-Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence
-Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards
-Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
-Respond to customer complaints and special requests
-Participate in large cleaning projects as required
-Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas
Key Requirements (qualifications and skills)
-Educational level: at least a diploma in relevant hotel management courses
-Experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor for at least 2 year at a 5/4 star hotel.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Collaborative and hands-on
-Good computer skills; Office tools
