4.LEGAL OFFICER , Safaricom Sacco .

As part of our growth strategy, we are looking to hire qualified staff to fill the above position.
The job holder will be responsible for all legal and regulatory matters including but not limited to court attendance, contract review, legal documentation, and advisory on legal, regulatory, and institutional compliance in all Sacco’s operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor of law degree from a recognized institution.
A postgraduate Diploma in Legal Studies from the Kenya School of Law
An advocate of the High Court
A Certified Secretary & membership with ICS will be an added advantage.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Knowledge:
Ability to work with computer and office software packages
Interpersonal/formal communication (oral and written) skills.
A good team player with good work ethics
General administrative reporting and Planning skills
General knowledge of various employment laws

5. Vacancy:

A person ( preferably 25-34years) who understands ASRHR in East Africa, someone who has contributed to policy work nationally ( in their country- formulation/review of their National ASRH policy, development of youth guidelines and frameworks). The person should be tech savvy and understand the chatbot functionalities. Understanding of the ASRH concepts, resource packs, and country positions on ASRH is a plus. This person should be available full-time between October- December 2022.
